Efficacy of Problem-Based Learning Strategy to Enhance EFL Learners’ Paragraph Writing and Grammar Skills

Generally, this study investigates the impact of problem-based learning strategies in enhancing and improving English as a Foreign Language students’ paragraph writing skills. It explores Problem-Based Learning on EFL learners’ development grammar abilities. The participants were 38 male students between ages 15 18. They all level ten secondary school attended public institution Al-Baha Saudi Arabia. Data was collected using both qualitative quantitative approaches. data collections post-test pre-test for two age-based groups. Qualitative through video recordings participants. findings from revealed that learners perform better their post-tests compared with pre-tests regarding skills writing. Thus, PBL success affects motivation This is reason performances than pre-tests. Additionally, results reveal control group did not write together would have expected. dynamics been observed cooperation one another missing during paragraph-writing activities.
